Your Used Laptops & Devices Can Change Lives
Over 7 million Australians face digital barriers — missing out on study, employment, myGov, telehealth, and daily connection. Finnova is reclaiming, refurbishing, and rehoming laptops, tablets, and phones to close the gap.
Measuring Australia's Digital Divide
Key metrics from the Australian Digital Inclusion Index (ADII) research.
Around 1 in 5 Australians are excluded or highly excluded from basic digital access, rising to 66.5% for seniors aged 75+ and 45.2% in public housing.
3.5 million computers end up in Australian landfill every year while millions of vulnerable citizens lack fit-for-purpose hardware.
Almost 10% of Australians rely solely on smartphones, making job applications, study, and myGov document uploads extremely difficult.
The national inclusion gap for First Nations people widens to 22.8 points in very remote communities where 40.9% are excluded.
